Green Chat Message Glitch [FIX]

Okay.

Recently, I couldn't help but notice there is a little bug going around where someone will add you, message you, then delete you. Then, an annoying little green message will pop up in the top right of your screen... and NOT go away (to any impatient person).

Funny enough, I have a simple solution that you will kick yourself after for not realising this.

All I had to do was simply click on the notification (if you can't, restart steam), when the chat box appears, click on the square where the picture is, click add friend, and then simply type some chat into the box.

Once you have done this, you will be able to see who did this to you, and you wont have an annoying green mail thing in the top right of your screen. ^^
