[Resolved] Account purchase not registered?

My brother, who has a separate steam account, and I recently both bought Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box. He is in the steam family sharing beta and has shared his library with me. When I click the shortcut and go to the game's store page in steam, it treats it as though I never purchased the game and that it is also being shared to me by my brother. I successfully installed the game after purchase but, at the moment, am only able to play it through his account despite having bought it myself. I sent in a ticket to steam support a while ago but am posting this in the meantime in case there is an easy solution from the community. Any help is appreciated, thank you!

i have had a similar issue myself.. i bought Alice Madness Returns today and i recieved the email with the purchase(and it also show on the steam store page as recently bought by me) but its not showing in MY Library!!

BUT its in my Brothers Acct from his purchase a while back still! So basically I cant play because i need to activate the game with EA Origin!

FIX THIS FOR US PLEASE :D

Same with me! I redeemed 8 games from Humble Bundle 20 minutes ago and they don't showup in my account! The strange thing is that it also shows my roomate account online in my friends list wihile he got offline hours ago! It must be some server update glitch.

Occasionally when I redeem keys from Humble Bundle, I have to completely restart Steam in order for it to show the games. Not just close Steam, but completely exit and restart it.

I thought of that and i even restarted the computer and my router but nothing happened! :)

No it was the Humble Weekly Sale: The Adventure Company and Friends from last week. I didn't had time to redeem it last week and i did it an hour ago. But i real think it's a server update thing because as i said it still shows my roomate online in friends list while he is offline.

Ok it just updated! My roomate went online and it got updated! Maybe it was a glintch because we share our libraries and the games i redeemed i had them already from his share library! So when he got online it got unglitched, updated or something! Anyway TirithRR Thank You for your time and info! :)
