Crafting badges but not always awarded a 2016 Summer Sale card

I just finished crafting 30 badges. While reviewing the badge rewards, I noticed that 3 of them did not award a 2016 Summer Sale card.
I reviewed the new items in my inventory, which followed a pattern of "background, icon, Summer Sale card" for 27 sets. There were 3 sets that only had "background, icon".

The 3 games in question:
- Envoy
- Neverending Nightmares
- Paper Dungeons

What is my best option for getting those 3 missing Summer Sale cards?

I had a similar problem, today i crafted 7 badges but received a Summer Sale card only for the first six.
7th badge game was Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers.
I was thinking of a daily limit but seeing you've crafted a lot more the cause must be another one

I'm in the same boat. Crafted a few last night, got cards for most badges. Today crafted 2 new badges, 0 cards or bonuses.

Yeah i just crafted a badge then (Battleblock Theatre) and no Summer Sale card :( What a waste

People are also having issues with buying the cards off the market (like me) where buy listings register an error and don't actually get listed.

Crafted a couple badges just now. Didn't get summer cards for the Hektor or Really Big Sky badge :(

I have filed a support ticket, and will update with any (or no) response.

It may take a few days before I hear back from them.

i thought this was happening to me until i *MANUALLY* checked my card count each time i crafted a badge.

YES.. sometimes when i craft a badge the "rewards listed" does not SAY i got a Steam Summer Trading Card.. *HOWEVER* if i look at my Inventory a NEW Summer Trading card *is there*.

Go to your Badges section, and look at your Summer Cards 2016 progress *every single time* BEFORE you craft a new badge.. THEN check the number of cards you have *after* you craft a badge (even when it doesn't say you got a card as a reward). You will likely notice, as i have, that you actually do receive a card even though it wasn't announced as a new Inventory Item you got.

Yeah, even it wont show it first, it is in your inventory. I myself crafted few badges, but got 7 day wait for some reason, I have mobile guard activated.

Not surprised by the response, but disappointed by its tone. I would have appreciated any indication that they at least investigated the issue. Something like "we can confirm that the cards were awarded, even though they didn't appear on the rewards screen", or "we're looking into the issue", or a response that doesn't feel so automated / cut-n-paste.
