Did anyone get their items stolen?
For some reason, I just lost 6 dollars and all of it spent on DOTA 2 Treasure keys, a friend of mine lost 30 dollars, but i'm wondering if anyone got affected by this [] account hijacker.

Huh, for some reason, my friend and I were targeted, and lost 20+ dollars, I sent a ticket to steam already and locked my account. For whatever reason, I had this guy named Artisey from [], that I guess got the keys, since he was the only new person I added.
Either way, it sucks to have just lost 6 dollars profit from the market.

If you don't know how you lost those stuff, change password. You just have to remember back, if you gotten any links through chat or maybe downloaded something called SteamGuard.exe.

But it seems you still have access to your account

Worse..
the hacker stole my TF2 hats, collector's chemistry set for liberty launcher. I had to lock my account just to make sure nothing else happens to my account.

Hacking doesn't come in to play here at all. You weren't "hacked", you fell for a scam somewhere and lost control of your account.

I already sent a ticket to steam, but I have no answer yet.

Change the password on any compromised accounts after you run both a virus and malware scan.

I already changed my password, but i'm hoping that Steam support answers my ticket soon, because i really want to start earning my money back through trading cards.

It will take several days before support replies to you inquiry. Take the time to lock down your Internet security practices.

Is it enough to have changed the password, switched the original EMAIL back, Locked my account, asked my friends for similiar events, and to have found a dead-end email that the scammer used?

Yup, as long as you didn't have a virus/trojan/keylogger on your pc when you changed your password you will be fine. Make sure you also change your e-mail password.

My main account was stolen from me by someone who impersonated one of my friends. I did not add this person, but they somehow were able to use the name and profile picture of one of my friends, whom I know in real life, to phish my password, then change it and the email address associated with my account. They have since proceeded to either sell or trade away many of my valuable items in addition to playing my games and deleting all of my friends. I'm very worried that I will either not get my account back, or that they will delete my account before my Steam Support ticket gets reviewed.
