Read this Steam
Can i install from CD im steam/steamapps/common with same result when i have bought the game from you? Getting really sick of all connection losses. And do i need to have steam open att all time? haven't closed the pc for a long time now. i get this all the time: Update & Installation Issues
When installing or updating a game, Steam displays an error message:
An error occurred while updating [game title]
An error occurred while installing [game title]
This is a common type of error that can occur any time a game is updated or installed on Steam
The error results when Steam is not able to complete the installation. The specific reason for the error will be shown in the parenthesis at the end of the error message.
Starting to miss the old way
Worked well a little time ago but now i have only problems
have 15-20 games still to install but 1 will take several days like it is now

Tried this stuff? https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2274-IFLV-5334

Installing from CD will more often than not still require you to download some new stuff to finish the installation, depends on the game.

What connection losses? Unstable internet in general?

Of course there is.
The Steam client is the same on all supported Windows platforms.

the only place i can locate steam is on D and i wish i had a running print screen prog, but not installed it on this pc. Not activ on online games so no reason. Or is it when you connect to steam you can access it?

Yes, "clear download cache" is a button you press in the settings of the Steam application. You don't delete stuff manually.

Assuming you have a SSD and its currently assigned as a primary C drive, you'll need to link up the D drive to the installation folder list.

It's ok i have the games on CD. You don't need to be bugged and i don't need to pay you. It's a win win for both

CDs are frequently outdated. You need to solve the Steam download issue. Wanna help with that?
