[FIXED] Steam family library sharing not working
I've tried to set up a family library sharing thingy but it's not really working right. Everything's authorised but it only works for a day or two. After that, I can only see my games and the games I've intsalled from the other account (the one I'm sharing with). I cannot play these installed games. I have to log out, log back in with the other account and set the whole family sharing back up from scratch. I was just wondering if this was a bug that lots of people are experiencing or if it's supposed to be like that. If it is a bug, is there any way I can fix it???

Couple questions
You own both accounts?
You do realize that when employing Family Share, the library can only be used by one person at a time right?

I don't own both accounts, one is my dad's but he never uses it

You should be logging in with both accounts and setting both account up with each of the associated accounts. Sounds like you are only logging in with one.

Login with rockcak3, go to family settings, and click the authorize this device button. make sure the other account has a check.

Login with the other account, go to family settings, and click the authorize this device button. make sure the rockcak3 account has a check.

Just did, both have ticks but still not working

Cannot play some or all...because some games CANNOT be family shared.

The games I want to play show up in the games library but when i go to play them, a message pops up saying: "Want to play this game? This game belong to Steam user ***. Would you like to request access?"

Got it fixed now, I turned my PC off and on again (I'm so stupid, should of done that first)
