Need help using Steam wallet - unsure of purchase.

I want to buy a character slot in my game TESO. My game is an mmo. The character slot is bought thru my game's cash shop. My game calls it's cash shop money "crowns." So can I use my steam wallet to buy crowns? I have already asked in my game forums and on steam forums and no one knows the answer.

Also, my game is coming out with a new DLC. I want to buy it with my Steam wallet. Is this possible?

I do not have a credit card. I do not use credit cards online. I will not give Steam any cc info not even as a backup to the wallet. I must be able to use the Steam wallet only.

Anyone can shed light on this subject? Can I use Steam Wallet to buy more than just the purchase of the original game? Can I buy the game's coming up DLC's and cash shop items with Steam Wallet also?

Try it, you dont have to spend money to find out if it allows steam wallet credit.

What is the point of having a Steam Wallet if they ask for my cc when I make a purchase. Not ask, demand. Where is the Steam Wallet option. I cannot get farther than this without entering cc info. What is the point of having a Steam Wallet if they are going to force me to use cc info?

Then what was the point of using Steam to buy my game if I cannot use Steam Wallet to buy my game's DLC and cash shop items? I might as well have just purchased my game from walmart since Steam gives me no benefits for having bought the game through them.

Whoever made the game has to add the new method of payment, If they dont want it they dont have to add it.
