Big Picture Mode Freezes after Start-Up

Hello guys
(Sorry if this has already been posted but I was too lazy to search :P)
I tried to launch Big Picture for some time now but I always have the same problem:
I click on the big picture mode button, then it starts up normally...after the start up the screen with the steam logo appears(the one that normally shows up when BP is starting) and then it freezes...
i tried doing the following things:
*doing nothing and waiting for quite some time(2 hours)
*reinstall steam
*delete clientregistry
*basically everything that is said in the support thing if steam freezes

nothing has worked so far...
Am I the only one? Do you know any solutions?

ya this happens to me too, sometimes if i let it go for a while it will recover and log on.
