Soulution for GFWL problems! I've just done it!!

I see that many people had the same problem I had, so there's what you're gonna do: Subscribe account.xbox.com, this will serve "in instead" of games for windows live, just log with it, may not work at the first time, asks for gamertag and this sort of useless stuff. Anyway, it WORKS. Trust me.

Sorry, dude! Don´t get what you mean... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Steam should give a warning, I can´t log on to GFWL, meaning not being able to play!!! I figure STEAM just said, "ppl won´t have the energy to hassel us for such a cheap game".

Have you been on GFWL before or this the first time?

The old site no longer works, but old logins need to be veirified if they have not been accessed since July. And new ones are also made in the same place. Xbox-live now is the place to go for this stuff. Here is the link:

Ive been trying for hours. I have a xbox live account as I play online and subscribe to xbox gold, i can not use my stupid xbox account to log into this useless g4wl nonsense, i get the same issue over and over again,i enter my email adress (which i know works because I can log in on the xbox live website) I even have the silly microsoft app on my phone for authentication, im even able to log on to the windows live site, BUT I CANT play my game. I used koraxbear's link, i even setup a new account, using my email , it tells me im already registered, which i can login again. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you uninstall the old GFWL marketplace, signin assistant and redistributable? the new version that they give you allows the game to run, then patch, then it might need a restart.

If your using windows 8 you might need to set compactibility mode to win 7 on GFWL there is a vid on here that shows the locations.

Press the escape button or the "red B" button if you are using xbox controller, when the gfwl account login appears in game.

You don't need Compatability mode, there is a download available for Windows 8 users. When you try to install the Windows 7 client you get a compatability warning, which provides a solution along with a Windows 8 download.

Koraxbear, your advice seems to have helped others, but I can't get it to work for me. I completely uninstalled the Games for Windows Marketplace and Games for Windows LIVE executables from my installed programs on my Windows 7 machine. Then I downloaded the new client from the link you've given. Then I installed it as Administrator. Then I restarted. But I cannot log in. It always says:

"Sign in error

Can't sign in. The Windows Live ID or password you entered is not valid. Enter your information and sign in again.

Code: 80048821"

The irony is that I can easily log in to xbox.com with my gamertag and password in a web browser in the background. Everything loads fine in that context. But I can't log in by way of the client, and I can't log in when Bulletstorm is running.

What is left for me to do?

Don't forget to use your "HOME" button.
if you are new"Import"your id, and use your email and password to sign in.

Err, why would the HOME button help? That just brings up the GFWL interface. It doesn't help me to successfully *log in* to that interface once it comes up!

And saying that someone should "import" their ID doesn't help. The point is that the import process doesn't work, because using "your email and password to sign in" doesn't work.

no idea what you're talking about i havne't had many issues signing in, apart from the intial false"couldn't sign in" which always seems to occure the first time reach login.
