That is no joke, I quit this game for years, but I am glad I gave it another try.
It's a MMO, it constantly has to be "saved" to avoid players losing interest.
Although I am also curious about what mluining means by their definition of saved.
I also think they need to make the melee weapons alot more different....instaea do fo just that the sword does less damage then the batleth and vulcan weapons.
a numnebr of bug fixes need to be done too....
and htey need to add a few more reputation and mission areas
oh and they need to fix the ground cloak power.....its messed up....as in its supposed to turn off when you attack with it....but instead it makes it so you cant atatck with it on....and even if the cloak effect is turned off you stilll have to manualy toggle it off or be stuck unable to do anything.
Those used to not work that way...and actualy worked but turning off when you made an attack...dont know whay they broke them.
After playing for 60 hours this game is a blast! Being new there are alot of things unclear but thats what Fleetmembers are for. Ofcourse there are still things that are a bit weird, but what game doesnt have that?
Im really looking forward to future improvements!
They had true 3D flight in-game in Alpha tests of the game. But the players got 'confused' as to their bearing, orientation and location in missions, and combat became too difficult so they dropped it early on.
Plus Cryptic would need to introduce dorsal and ventral shield faces.
It fits with the lore at least. ever notice on the shows how even when coming trhough the vastness of space, ships always meet perfectly oriented to each other?
