i play this game alot and i tend to find alot of 30 year olds or people age 14. id like to see if people are accualy me age in this game. it would be nice to have people my age to commun with lolz

I'm 23 and I play this game everyday. I'm also a huge Trekkie. I'm sure there are others out there our age, but they are more rare...

The sucky thing about Star Trek right now - it's a split fanbase. You've got old timers (literally like you said, 30's and even ones in their 50's I know that play this game) that love the OLD Star Trek universe, why they like this game. Leonard Nimoy for the dialog, old school places like DS9, TNG-style inferaces, and the works. They LOVE this game.

Then you get the youngsters. Like you said, 14. People that like video games and most likely seen and loved the new JJ Abram's reboot movies. So they are interested in Star Trek and the game is free now so they can get on and play anytime without a CC or anything.

Besides the new films, Star Trek needs to branch out more. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the old shows, probably watch one at least once a day. I've also been to a convention earlier this year. But they're all get so old now. There is no hope/chance of any old trek actors returning. It would be nice if they explored more of the Star Trek universe.

I'm 28, so I suppose that lumps me in with the dudes in their thirties. TNG was still airing when I was a child, so that's why the majority of Trek fans tend to be my age and above.

The nice things about Trekkies, is they are very accepting of any age. Don't shy away from the older people that play the game, you may be surprised that most are ver cool people. I have been a Trekkie since the mid 70's (I am 43) and still love it today. I even love the new Abrams films. I play STO less frequently lately, but I still play.

i am more of a people person. age doesnt matter and i have alot of 30year old friends. but i'd still prefer my age group lol.

Being a Trekkie I feel transends an actual age number. I'm a lifelong Trek fan watching all of them either through reruns or as they were on starting from TNG (my prefered era, DS9 being a very close second arcwise) and even all of Enterprise. I don't really understand all the problems with the JJ Trekverse if you just except it as an alternate universe, as it defined in the begining of the first movie, it isn't that bad. It shouldn't have things done as it was in the original universe going from the butterfly effect of Nero's first attack. The only real problem is JJ's obsession with lens flare.

But going back on track, just turned 32 and honestly other than certain speach paterns I really don't know the ages of those I've talked to in the game, other than those I've become friends with and know more information about.
