yeah, and?
heres a link that might help
I did something similar with my Logitech G13, and it plays flawlessly. I use my keyboard mainly for things like chat, and logging in or out. Other than that, I hardly have to touch it. Of course, the G13 having 25 fully programmable buttons does help, and is probably not what you are using. But the process for making it work should be the same. Hope this helps some.
I find it funny some people cant get over the fact that some people want to use a controller.
also looking for a soution, what are you trolling?
cheers for info though (=
thank you all who actually posted helpful stuff
I use a wired 360 controller. 1st get familiar with the terms: joy1 = start button / joy2 = select / joy3 = L3 button / joy4 = R3 button / joy5 = Left bumper / joy6 = Right bumber / joy7 = left trigger / joy8 Right trigger / joy9 = A button / joy10 = B button / joy11 = X button / joy12 = Y button / joypad_up = dpad up / joypad_down = dpad down / joypad_left = dpad left / joypad_right = dpad right / Lstick_up = left analog stick up / Lstick_down = left analog stick down / Lstick_left = left analog stick left / Lstick_right = left analog stick right / Rstick_up = right analog stick up / Rstick_down = right analog stick down / Rstick_right = right analog stick right / Rstick_left = right analog stick left
Combo keys are done with a plus sign ( + ) example: joy9+joy10 <~ this means you press both the A & B button on the controller for that action.
ingame under the keybind option you hover over the action and it gives you the cmd. You type right into the chat bar. Example: /bind target_next_enemy joypad_right+joy8 <~that means when i press and hold the right trigger and press right on the dpad it cycles through my enemies clockwise. /bind Target_prev_enemy joypad_left+joy8 <~ that cycles them counter clockwise.
It seems tough at 1st but can lead to a very personalized configuration like no other game offers. The key is that overlap, using select, start, bumpers, dpad and trigger buttons like an alt or shift for button combinations.
Some buttons already have function. the analogs will move you and look around and i think A button jumps on ground and the L & R trigger cycles targets by default. You should clear some individually as you bind to avoid conflicts.
This was the hardest game to config a controller to for me, but in the end every action was where i wanted it. I had to go back a few times and rethink my ink untill the setup was comfortable and fluid
Good luck.
