WTF?....

So i redownloaded STO thinking after a while most problems would be fixed, how worn g i was, i patch it and log in no problem, but right when it hits the STO logo, it freezes and doesnt respond, what gives?

yeh im having problems getting past the patcher without my comp crashing im on windows 7 and have posted a few posts on here asking for fixes but nothing so far,

I've got it to work you just gotta have a lot of patience,i just left it on the logo screen, went to take a wiz and cme back to the game started, its definatly quirky, but i just got done with 194 minute session on it with little problem

Mine takes forever too, but it does load.

In the launcher. Go to "Options" and enable "Safe Mode". When the game loads just reset your graphics to the you had them. Your ready to play. Yes they need to fix this, but for now this will fix the issue...

What gives is that you post a problem to a forum that's not visited by tech support, then title it in a way they'd never bother looking at it even if they were here.

i rely more on people who have had the same problems who might have a solution, they tend to be more reliable

I just tried validating the files with steam by right clicking sto and then properties. after the scan it said one file failed. I imagine that file is the problem.

yeah loading time is very long on this game and if you go to windows to wait for it when you come back into the game it apears to of crash but give it time it does sort its self out :)
