Hi,

Any tips for defeating the U.S.S. Poseidon? It keeps killing me with it's Anti-proton Beam Array and I could up in a puff of smoke after being eaten by a cloud of Anti-protons. What are the best weapons, shields, etc to defeat the Poseidon?

you need more people to defeat it and in my opinon antiprotons do more damage

I use stowiki.com as my resource for sto online. It tells exatly what type of armor to use.
I prefer the armor that is specialized. For weapons I use transphasic torpedos( extra shield penetration) and Tetryon energy weapons for the same reason. The breen space set also gives a boost to Transphasic weapons. Also i am an engineer so i have shield and hull repiar abillities. Ffor your bridge officers make sure thier abilities buff damage to the types of weapons you are using. Escorts have a 15 % boost to damage but have less base hull stats

i'd say to solo it just circle around it and dont use protons cause if that causes the anti protons and the gas thats whats killing you

how do i go about assembling a task force? i think a was part of tf omega but there were more that five ships when i went through the wormhole.

if u have phasers use quintum torpedos
antiprotons + cronoton torpedo
tetryon + quintum or plasma
plasma beams = not good for the guy your fighting
disruptors + quintum torpedos



transphaseics suck for DPS

You can't solo this mission unfortunately, you can however solo the Posiedon as difficult as it may be. Aftery you're done with the space part, you have beam on board the station at which it becomes nearly impossible to do the mission with out team mates.
