If you are a new player and have questions about STO (Star Trek Online) feel free to add me on Steam. I played STO before it came to Steam and I have about another 500 hours of playtime. If you are below VA rank (level 50) I'd be glad to help you level up, either by doing Episodes or Patrols. I have VA Science, Tactical and Engineer captains and I understand a wide range of setups for different ships. My ships are as geared as I want them to be and EC (Energy Credits) and Dilithium are not important to me (I'm not asking for anything in return for my help). It is not neccasary but there are several Fleets (Guilds in other games) that I can help get you into when you are ready. Fleets can be useful as a source of information when you have any questions as well as a reliable place to find a group for "End-Game" content. I can also help re-do certain Episodes when one does reach level 50, to get gear while they earn Reputation (a system of points to get 'Gear')

I know they went over this in one of the tutorial missions (at least I think they did), but I can't remember what you do with Dilithium Ore to make it useful? I have quite a bit but I can't use it at the Dilithium store. Where do I go? Who do I talk to? Any help would be great.

If you are talking about Unrefined Dilithium Ore, you must open your Inventory and use the Currency tab (there should be two tabs at the top of the Inventory screen (one being inventory itself)) This should show you your EC/Dilithium and other types of currency. There will be a "Refine" button here. You can only refine so much Dilithium a day, but at least now you can use the 'Dil' you have.
