Free Obelisk Carrier

I'm curious was anyone on here actually able to get a Obelisk Carrier[sto.gamepedia.com] (You can still get it so long as you complete “Sphere of Influence” feature episode prior to December 5, 2013).

I'm still unable to complete this mission "The Other Side" because of graphical errors. Everything else is where it should be except for an npc called "The Guardian" everytime I target him, I crash I made a bug report about him 13 days again but no fix has been made since then.

I got in Saturday. Had no problems with the quest.

Did you try a reinstallation of STO or a repairtool if their is one (I am quite new to the game so no clue)?

Yea I tried the repair option 4 times after the error happened, have also tried a fresh install.

Obelisk Carrier only enginner ?

The free one is an engineering type the Obelisk heavily favors Engineering bridge seating over Science, with Commander and Lieutenant-level Engineering Bridge slots (the lieutenant slot is universal on the Advanced version)

What about hanger pets, can we use anything other than the default ones?

The Obelisk can only slot the blue Obelisk swamers, or the purple Advanced Obelisk swarmers. As well as the elite Fleet Spire Swarmers.

I think the NPC you are talking about is the guardian of time, a gate-shaped object, you must walk through it. To confirm it is the guardian of time (i think that is what it is called), when does he appear? The gate should appear behind you after you summon everyone to the platform and press all of the buttons. If so, then walk into it. If not, then i am unsure what you are talking about.

I have had one for some time now, and had no issues with the mission. It really is a fun ship.

Its not the Guardian of Forever. Its just one of hundreds of Iconian gateways.

yes I got frist day it was available. I love it add some carrrier pets played right with with and its almost unbeatable agaist level 3 less ships have tried wirh 1 level 4 with help from one other starship was able to beat it with little less that 35% heath leflt

Not the Guardian of Forever, nor an Iconian gate.

OP's referring to one of the 'Guardians' NPC sentry robots. He needs to interact with one of them to open a door. Everytime he gets that dialog up and tries it, his game client crashes.

Yes the npc was the "guardian sentry robot", that had to be used to open that door and move on it seems that the textures we missing on the patch install via steam on the 6th. the actual sphere update fixed the problem.

I did enjoy using it during the mission, the ship is very strong...one of the strongest ships i have ever seem (I bet it gets a nerf).

I got the carrier finially, can't use it (requires rear admiral) however it took 3 installs of the game, the last install was a fresh install...new folder and clean registery.

If you are running any mods, uninstall them, and try restarting the game.
