whats with the tiney download size? is this a virus or something? i'm not trying to hate i just curious

You download a Launcher that does anything else. Nothing Viral would be on Steam!

It downloads the game and then starts it.

i tried it earlier and i couldnt figure out how to get to the actual game

It sucks its the game sites downloader so there is no PAUSE option and if you exit out it starts all over so BS!

It doesn't start all over if you cancel, it resumes from the spot it left off.

If a run of the mill launcher is to complex for you, you may want to reconsider your gaming platform.

What hes saying is correct.Steam downloads an outdated version of STO then Cryptics launcher downloads the rest.This updater from Cryptic is crap as there is no option to pause the game and if you close the launcher it restarts the entire download process.Craptic needs to fix their terrible launcher.
