Which carrier is the best out of the c-store carriers? And why? And it doesent matter which faction.

Carriers are traditionally pretty bad due to pet AI being ♥♥♥♥ in this game, but if you want to go for a carrier that's fine.

You want a full carrier (2 hangars) or half carrier (1 hangar)? And what career is the character you're flying said carrier on?

I want a full carrier and I have a fed science and engineer toon. And a kdf tactical and engineer toon. I don't know which toon that I should fly a carrier on. I do have the jupiter class carrier on my fed science toon.

Well, the only faction that has decent carriers in the C-store would be the KDF, and that's only because their spiky one(can't remember the name kar-fi?) it's frigate pets spam tri-cobolt mines everywhere.

My favorite carrier though, is the Recluse, because the Elite mesh weavers have 2 twin beams, a torp front, and a single beam rear, with beam fire at will III, and attack pattern Beta III. Sadly it's not C-store, so it doesen't fit your request. Figured I'd add it anyways.

I personally fly a Sarr Theln, which is an event carrier you probably don't have access to. Right now, I'd fly the Jupiter on the fed sci, and maybe see if there's a T6 kligon carrier. Most full carriers are science-based anyway.

Edit: usually the Recluse is the most reccomended carrier due to its pets.

class matters very little in the end, tac will hit a little harder, engies have better sustained dps, and sci does grav well a little better, they don't have huge differences.

That carrier though is partilally battlecruiser, from what I remember on top of the two hangers(has an extra front slot and can field cannons) so if I had to choose one, I'd pick engie,

you'll either want cannons and turrets or dual beams and omnis. Although, be aware that you can only mount one crafted omni and one episode reward omni at a time.

Closest thing to an escort carrier I've flown is the Scimitar, so I can't help alot there. Although it's probabily the best single hanger ship around.

Long ago, i bought the Caitian Atrox Carrier for my feds, it has 2 hangars and science ship systems. It is not bad as a carrier, IMHO. But what do i know. (That was the last thing i have bought in this game.)

I would say the best carrier in my experience is the Obelisk carrier it was an event carrier and is a C-Store carrier which means you can still get it, however it has drone fighters which have some of the highest numbers i have seen short of the Romulan super carrier they are also outfitted with disrupter weapons, and the ship actually has an amazing variety of armament which allows the ship multiple success as a battleship and a full carrier. The best part is it is not faction restricted any faction can use this carrier if you so choose, however the event version is star fleet only.

Swarmers have AP weapons, and did you look at the date of the last post?

Obelisk also isn't available in the C-store, there isn't a T6, and it's a terrible ship (ignoring the decent AP pets of course).

Swarmers can be loaded into any hangar so long as they're not the freebies you get from the mission, and they certainly do rip things up.

You're right about the Obelisk, though. I liked how it looked, but it was an engineering-focused carrier, which is possibly the least useful sort. The T6 equivalent is the Vorgon Ryn'kodan, which has a comparable console and boff layout... but as with pretty much all useful carriers, is not available for ZEN.
