Maybe you have some change in place with older toons?
We can all move our hud around redesign to an extent. Sto tells us its controllet compatible already so why not have the option the choose our display , im not expection the k+m players to be forced to use it however theres still alot if users who like the control pad and it would make sense for the option to be added so players can choose.
He clearly said adding it as an option. Dont know why youre getting all butt hurt because someone chooses to play the game differently. If it doesnt effect you, just shrug and move on.
I dont see an issue controling the ship with a game pad, it would be easy enough to hold the right trigger which would bump the option to use bo powers and scroll with one of the thumb sticks.
Iv not personally tried with the steam controller on sto, and i do understand that alot of gams are just easier with k+m. But with the ever gowing popularity of using a controller to play games on pc it would b ideal for many players to have a specific ui. Most games coming out on steam these days are controller compatable .
There is an ever growing number of players turning up on pc who preffer a controller , so it would make sense for it the likes of sto to add the console ui. Its been said that the game is broken and buggy, if thats the case then adding another bug/fault to the gam wouldnt be much of an issue.
