Tutorial Update

Epic of Serinor: Dawnshadow has been updated with significantly expanded tutorials. The biggest feedback from early players of Dawnshadow was the difficulty of picking up on its core systems. The players were fine with those systems once they understood them, but needed a bit more help to figure out what was going on in the first place. This update aims to address those initial concerns.

Controls will be displayed on-screen before initial launch.
Additional menu navigation tutorials added to first floors of the Shadowed Citadel.
Additional combat tutorials added when first accessing features in battle.
Adjusted layout of most floors in the Shadowed Citadel to make accessible areas easier to identify.

This mostly involves widening or repositioning doors to make them more visible. It also includes adding some one-time interrupt text to combat to describe what's happening and what the player can do. Hopefully it will help make getting into the flow of things easier for new players.

Game Crash

Happens everytime I talk to the Raptor on the floor when you leave your cell, oddly enough though I can fight the Raptor and fight the shadow guy that kills you to send you back to bed lols, the Raptor respawns in that case, game still crashes even then... https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/527275435684397057/1056789334914760774/image.png...

Danwshadow is on pace for its solstice release. What better way to celebrate the passing of the longest night of the year than by than by joining Sai in his quest to be free from the darkness? Gamepad not working

It seems to detect a gamepad and switch buttons prompts, but not actually do anything

Technical Issues

Fun game so far!

Having a good time roaming around and vaporizing bats and slimes with a staff. Setting is really neat and the game's writing is pretty good thus far.

Favorite Characters

I find myself inexplicably attached to the raptor (who I named Rosie), even though it is the only character I can’t have intelligible conversations with. Anyone else digging the dino?
