Terrible static/distortion/hissing sound!

I know others have talked about this on here, but there doesn't seem to be a solid solution other than turning the channels down on your headphones or speaker set from 7.1 to lower. But using my Logitech G35 headset, I don't seem to have that option. Correct me if I am wrong please. Also the problem didn't start till a few weeks ago, it would just hiss slightly in the beginning, after a few weeks it was a full on distortion effect. Makes the game unplayable... with sound. Please help, love MTG, the PC version is great when it works!

Oh also, I tried updating drivers for headphones, and also verified game cache, always had one file missing. So I deleted the game and re-downloaded it. Still the same issue.

bumping in the vague hope that someone fixes this. Not that WotC ever listen to anyone.

I've found a workaround. If you happen to have Virtual Audio Cable (or something similar) you can set it as your sound device and pipe the stereo signal through to your headset. Works fine then. Still want WotC to issue a patch though.
