Edit: Help & Options > Settings > Advanced tab > Hold Priority (put an X in the box)
I believe both members of your team, if playing 2HG, have to enable the option. Otherwise it should prevent the game from skipping straight to combat.
But still, it boggles my imagination why they would make *not* following mtg rules the default behavior.
The same is true for Pariah. It only prevents damage, so the above cards get it around it as well.
lolz
So, as it happens, his use of "too" was correct, and your use of "to" was not.
I think it's to ease people into the game and keep things moving.
Its isn't the same as it's either, which he also got wrong. Unfortunately if we corrected every moron thing someone said we'd never get anything meaningful done in life.
Anyways, I think we got ahead of ourselves a bit. Sorry for my angry responce, what I really meant to say was it pays off to check rules from time to time to see if what you observe is correct. As 2HG player you share life but damage can be dealt to the "head" you choose (well direct damage in dotp as unfortunately one can not choose which head to attack which IS completely wrong). Killing one of the heads kills the body sort of thing. So cards like "pariah" can save one of the heads but the other one is still vulnerable.
I am much calmer now I took my pills.
