Targeting creatures you control with burn spell

Hi.
Had a battle with Ajani, he had serra avatar and around 600 life after he attacked me and I was left with 1 life. I took control of his creature with my dominus and tried to kill it off with prophetic bolt but coudnt choose a creature, just player. Is there a way to do it or is it the way this game works? Cheers.

If you go through the options you nee to turn off simple targetting. While this is on the game stops you targeting your own creatures with burn and kill spells.

Thank you so much. I clicked help&options before but didnt notice tabs other than initial settings and I played entire campaing on low resolution as well...You've been very helpful to me. I could have won that battle! Cheers mate!

I actually managed to kill my own creature while simple targeting was on, with Blister Beetle when there was no enemy creature.

Kerberos, the game is programed that if a target is needed for a spel it will pick it for you but with simple targeting if you and your opponent had creatures it would of only let you pick that one. glad it was of help for you gathor :)
