I haven't tried any of the "advanced" settings.
To reiterate: The white screen shows up, but it's a windowed square, about the size of the resolution that I expect. So, the game is "windowed" but just white. If that makes sense. There's even sound in the background.
I appreciate it! I wish the devs for "Go Home Dinosaurs" were as responsive as you. I bought the bundle and neither games are launching (similar DX errors). I've tried contacting them on their website, Facebook, Twitter, and about 3 forum posts on Steam. Sigh
So, it sounds like you are running fullscreen but a white square is showing up on a black(?) background? How big would you say the square is? If you could take a screenshot and post it, I can at least see what resolution it's trying to run in and see if that white square if anything that looks like something I might recognize, size-wise, in the game.
If you didn't yet try windowed mode, could you try that? I suspect it would/should work, and from there maybe we can figure out what is making fullscreen not quite work. The fact that it's not working with SBS *and* GHD is interesting, though, since those games use completely different middleware for their graphics stuff (Gamebryo for SBS and OGRE for GHD). Do you have issues with other games as well?
