Great little game, especially for the price!
Absolute pleasure to play through, and not too hard to 100% either.

Only experienced one bug, but it was easily fixable with the in-game warp feature.

Seriously recommend to anyone that likes laid back collectathon games with some simple combat elements and a solid story.

TL;DR
Casual game, casual audience. No bugs encountered. Don't have to think too much, just do. Mini games. Unlock stew and food to sprint everywhere without worrying about energy.

For what this game aims to be and its target audience, I think it's very well made with a good amount of attention to detail - every recipe item has their own flavor text, and there are cute mini references to other games.

I thought this was a mobile game port at first and was ready to write it off as a "have fun for a few hours and move on" sort of game.

First off, this game is mostly easy. It's super laid back, very forgiving, decent amount of hand holding so you don't have to try to figure out what to do next when you don't really want to think, and minor amount of guide look ups (optional). It's tailored for when you just want to relax, enjoy, and zonk out a bit. Storyline combat is mildly challenging at best. Very kid/casual-friendly. There is an option for more difficult combat trials at the end of the game.

Second, walk/run speed was a deterrent at first, but pretty soon, the game drenches you in energy-recovering perks and food (stew, when unlocked, recovers half your bar almost infinitely), if you build up relationship with the crew, and you can pretty much sprint all the time, which make this game a LOT better.

This game's structure is reminiscent of games like Mario Sunshine where you go around completing tasks and collecting things for completion's sake.

Finally, I have not encountered any bugs and I am past the end of the game (just casually finishing collections / upgrades and exploration). I only got stuck in one location once, and I just teleported out for a mild inconvenience.

Tips

Stew: lasts longer the more food you put in up to 24 hours. each time you take from it to recover half your energy bar, it goes down an hour extra, decreasing as the day progresses otherwise. cheap ingredients are easy to grow.

Unlock teleporting within an island for free early by feeding Charles via the stew. Huge early game-changer. They made it so you can do everything for survival just on the first island.
