While there's nothing inherently strange about an OEL work being set in Japan, or the authors enjoying stealth puns in character names, when I see things like 捜査員を選んで下さい written above "Choose Your Investigator", that feels like the game's crossed the line into gratuitous Japanese. After all, most players won't be able to read it, and it doesn't add anything to the atmosphere either. What's the reasoning behind such design decisions?...

I got up to Chapter 3, but the WItness Report- Runa and Hiro's testimony regarding the victim- isn't showing up in my evidence, as there's yellow question marks for the bottom piece of evidence on the left column of Page 2. As a result, I'm unable to proceed past the part in which Genba has to prove that the victim didn't come over at 10:30 and that it wasn't the first time he came to the mansion....
