I recommend checking both fullscreen and quick alt-tab.
working smoothly with the radeon driver here
So, the solution was to reinstall it and reacticvate it, reset and finally it worked.
I wish I had tried that before so many other things, it would have saved my some time.
Happy it's solved, happy spacecheming.
Actually, I havent opened SpaceChem again, I really dont want to risk my gpu driver / display messing up again. I would like to know if the issue can be reproduced but Im not willing to risk more hours of bug chasing around with this.
Would be cool if they become on par with the closed source one, but i highly doubt it.
Even older cards like this GT 520 still runs much better with closed driver.
What usually happens with games that are either old or use really primitive engines is that they mess with your display resolution to go full screen but don't set it back to the normal value when exiting. Did you try going to nvidia-settings and seeing if your display settings are okay?
