Is this worth getting

I think it's worth it. It's a fun game especially if you're into highscores and leaderboards.

Yes, I finally tried it and it's a very good game, anyone who likes FPS fare should enjoy this one, it's different too, but in a good way. For the price, good bargain, too.

I am Painkiller fan as well.

no, it isn't worth anything.

one playthrough can be done in a couple of hours and there is zero chance of replayability...

To the guy who said there's no re-playability, I guess you aren't into "highscore" type gameplay where the goal is to repeat the levels in order to beat your own scores and try to achieve your perfect runs.

If you like this kind of game, as well as shooters, then I think the game is great at what it sets out to do.

Yeah, there is a couple of different weapons as I recall. I only played it an hour or so though in the interest of disclosure. I keep meaning to get to some of these games in my backlog and give them some attention :D

Maybe you're not into the whole "beating your own high scores" thing.

this game is boring as hell, there is no incentive to go back and beat your scores, there is nothing compelling about this game, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame and that's all there is to it. the object of the game is to run around and shoot the inanimate dots, some are not always plainly evident but not usually hard to find although working against the clock makes that a pain in the ass. the player movement is so bad it's like some kind of underwater nightmare, you never land where you need to land and your feet are never where you expect them to be because of this and the enemies are sparse and behave like partially animated mannequins.

if you want some serious first person target practice that's actually exciting to play, try the drunken robot pornography alpha. even killing floor is more exciting than this game and it's one of the easiest fps games there is.

there's no good reason to purchase this game at any price but if you can get it for free, go for it...

What incentive do you expect from the game ? you have the leaderboards. The movement is great once you master the mechanics of the game , you need skill to avoid geting stuck on the hologram , the AI it`s weak but the main objective of the game it`s to make cambos and perfect chains as fast as you can not enemy kills , and the game offers many hours of gameplay if you play for highscore 5 stars ratings in all the mods with all the dlcs. Try to beat the top 5 players and then say the game has no replay value.
For people who are undecided whether to buy or not the game, the best way to decide is to play the demo watch some gameplay vids and read the users reviews on metacritic.
In my opinion the game is brilliant: easy to learn but difficult to master :D (there are some hardcore players in the lederboards :P )

when a game is entirely boring and super easy, that means there is no incentive to try and top other players on the leaderboard because it isn't worth the time. judging from the community here, the sales and just about all the reviews; i am not alone in these thoughts...

i don't think people need you to advise them try the demo. obviously they already know there is a free demo, if they got this far.

it's plain to see that this game is a bore and a waste of money. you shouldn't encourage more people to throw their money away too on a bunk product just because you don't want to be alone in losing your money or because you think it will raise your position on the leaderboard; it doesn't work that way anyhow...
