Is there any type of endless wave/mindless game mode in RAGE?

I sometimes play games while I'm on the phone when I know it will be a long call so I was wondering if there is any game mode/type I can play that does not involve me paying attention or will ruin any parts of the story

Unfortunately not. However there is a quick mission mode that allows you to replay any mission and choose a loadout.

Well there's always the minigames and side missions.. things like races and Mutant Bash TV (these are unlocked early in story)
