Multiplayer doesn't work

So, the situation is, that I can't play online with a friend. When he creates a game, then he invites me and I click accept the invitation. Then the game searches for server but it didn't find. Please help me!

This happens to me too... I tried with different friends and I couldn't join any of them...

I found a post on the forum that said this is Steam's fault and that closing and restarting Steam would solve it. To my surprise, it really solved the problem and I could join a lobby with my friends.

tried it and it won't work. I can only join games I have been invited to
