Can never join a Multiplayer game

Sometimes I see a Multiplayer game up, not all of the slots are filled, but there has never been a time when the "Join Game" has been highlighted. I have yet to be able to have the option of joining one.

I see a Red circle with a line around on the top with the name of the server, indicating I am not allowed, probably.

Anyone know what the issue could be? I am not using a firewall either, straight ISP to PC.

Yeah, I have the same problem.
Maybe it's a private game issue?
