Fist I would suggest you to verify the integrity of the game cache, some files might have been corrupted during the download process: through the Steam interface right click on E.Y.E, then choose properties.
Under the local files tab simply click on Verify integrity of game cache.
If it doesn’t help, try to lower your graphic options and/or disable the ultraviolence in game options.
Could you provide me more information about your computer: OS, Graphic card, Ram, CPU, firewall, antivirus. Also do you run any background task such as a defragmenter?
Could you also confirm you have updated with the last version, that’s to say Blood games version?
