Do people still play the multiplayer?
I saw the reviews and the price and I really want to get this game when it goes on sale (Christmas?) but I was wondering if people still play the multiplayer?

I haven't really had much success in playing on random servers. There's some dedicated servers online but nobody seems to play there (Berlin Time).

They mostly don't, due to lack of the Steam VPN network setup.

Buy some copies for the coolest of Your friends, get Tunngle and play it with them using it.

Unless You're like one of those 4 people that were able to host server and had ppl join it.

Is this game still good without the multiplayer? Would I be missing out on anything?

There are decent public coop servers with people playing sometimes, you're better off with friends rather than randos though. There's nothing wrong with playing singleplayer in fact it's probably best to start with that so you can take your time and go through the dialogues.

Singleplayer is where it's at. PvP wasn't that popular since it was released, but coop is nice - but really, it's just an addition. Coop doesn't let you immerse in the story, everything you can play in MP you can also play alone. So no, IMO you wouldn't be missing out on anything.

Grind with friends through randomized missions to get your levels, researches and brozoufs up.

Campaign is a dish best served in single.

I try to play it sometimes now that Ive gotten invested in the sp and some of the people who like to play neotokyo sometimes play e.y.e. for fun. Sir, if you want to play coop I would be up for it.

Thanks, but unless you're from Australia I'm not sure how well that would work.
