How to change resolution?

Hi, im trying to change the resolution of my Doom 3 to 1366x768 and theres no way to make it.
I have tried creating the "res.cfg" file on "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Doom 3\base " but when i put the command on the menu of the game with "exec res.cfg" it doesnt load it.

Anyone knows why fails or has another way to change the resolution?

There is a way to change resolution. First of all, get a mod like Redux 0.95b, it is the best option:

If you have graphical issues with it, tell, there is another way.
