Roguelike: If progression exists, it is horizontal, designed to give the player more options and not strictly better ones. Enter the Gungeon, Nuclear Throne, Lost Labyrinth, FTL, etc. Roguelite: Progressions exists and is vertical, the player is expected to grow stronger via better stats and/or stronger abilities with each failed run until a combination of player skill + earned raw stats/abilities force a win. The white screen on startup is merely the current loading screen, so waiting it out will startup the game. I will work on decreasing the whitescreen time and eventually have it replaced altogether. Dev Christian
