Hello Vektor Fish Blasters!

FAN'CIE VEER! just got another update, now well over 5 years since I launched it here on Steam!

Here's what's in this update:

- Fixed a bug where your ship could shrink to negative numbers at the "Level Complete" state of any level. This could result in you not seeing your ship until you continued to the next level. Not really a game breaking bug, but still something that looked silly none-the-less. It's been resolved now.

- Fixed an extremely rare bug where your ship could get stuck inside a rock without exploding if you hit 3 rocks (vektoroids) at the same time at the right angle and speed. Very rare situation for sure, but still it had to be fixed, and that is now resolved with this update.

- I completely re-drew the electric border walls that allow you to see when you have sufficient speed to crash though vektoroids. (Remember, you have to have sufficient speed and also be the opposite color of the vektoroid to crash though it and get crash combo points)

- I re-colored and re-worked the 'Level Complete" screen to look better and also see how many total points you scored on that level which was never shown before this update.

- Changed the coloring of the blue vektor fish to show it as a truer blue making it easier to see that you need to change your ship to blue to blast it.


..That's about it for this update. Small changes, but still important changes to me as an indie developer who cares about the small details of his games. ..I hope that you enjoy this game with all of the changes and updates I've given to this game since I launched it back in July of 2018! Hello gamers!

It's been a year now since the last update, and while that last update 1.21 was a great update and changed this game for good with all new mechanics, this update does just as much to help you control your ship!

Now, by default, you'll see a white arrow in the background where-ever your mouse cursor is. The arrow will point from your ships position to the arrows position to show you the exact direction you'll move when you hold down or press your left mouse button. Remember that when you press your left mouse button to thrust, you'll always move towards your mouse position which is now indicated by the new arrow and your movement speed will always be faster the further away your mouse cursor is from your ship. To help you see this visually, the arrow will now be a bigger size to show faster speeds and a smaller size to show slower movement speeds.

You can always turn this arrow off by pressing your space bar while your ship exists and turn it back on by pressing the space bar again.

It might sound pretty simple, but this is a MASSIVE Quality of Life change for this game! I encourage to give it a try if you've ever found FAN'CIE VEER! a little frustrating to control!

Enemy Fish have been completely re-drawn to look angrier then ever!
Also in the update, I made a new "spawn" cursor to help you see where your ship will spawn before you press the space bar to spawn a new ship. ..Another Q.O.L. (Quality of Life) change that I think helps just make this game more enjoyable overall.


Nothing else has been changed. Just a couple of pretty snazzy Q.o.L. changes!
