DLC query: Will there be story-based DLC?

I loved this game, and have seen the skin DLC. I want to know if any of you Steam users has heard word of story-based DLC. 2K said they discarded 5-6 games worth of content during develpoement. I'd really like to see some of the discarded material. So if anyone has word of story-based DLC, please reply.

That's good, I was thinking more along the lines of new areas, more than one plot, different playable characters. But really, good job. Thanks!

I'm not sure that's a good thing. If they discarded it, there was probably a good reason. I'd rather have them work on something new, rather than try to make something out of areas that didn't work in the first place

The bits and pieces that didn't get into the final product might be garbage, but there's time and money invested in it.

If I was in charge of a game company, I'd make sure nothing would go to waste. I'd totally mend those bits together and make a DLC or two out of them.

just a thought maybe the new dlc will be an eposodic side story spaning all three of the planned DLC's unless they pull a valve and forget how to count past 2
