Interessant, kannst du die Situation vielleicht noch näher erläutern. Wo hast du den Key gekauft? Hast du den auf diesem Account aktiviert oder vielleicht auf einem anderen?

I'm having the same problem. Has anyone tried contacting customer support? I'm not in any rush to play the game again, but I still want what I paid for.

I already contacted the customer support, I'm waiting for a reply.
I searched for a solution on the net, just to know if someone have had the same problem and it seems that this kind of issue has previously occured to other people, not only with bioshock infinite. It can be that someone has stolen our keys or either the keys that we bought were stolen, therefore steam deactivated them on our accounts.
Let's see what's gonna happen, hope they'll answer me soon!

im having the same problem and i bought bioshock code on steam through Gamefanshop.com, did you guys buy straight from the steam store or did you buy a anctivation code from a non steam site?

I have the same problem. I bought it from a non steam site. I think it was mmoga. Don't know what the problem is. I paid for it, I want to have it!

I bought the key on Kinguin.net, one of the most reliable keystores. Don't know what happened but I also would like my game back, I paid 30€ for that key!
Still waiting for an answer from steam support...

I have this problem too...

Is it because of new DLC ?

I've seen situations like this a number of times in the past.

As far as I know, there are three possibilities where large groups of players have this happen:

1. The vendor is selling codes for the wrong region, so after Steam realizes you're playing from the wrong region, it revokes the code.
2. (The following used to be true. I'm not certain if Steam has resolved this problem recently or not.) The vendor sold the same code to multiple purchasers. Because Steam doesn't immediately check all of the codes for duplicates, this can allow players to all play for a short time before Steam revokes all of the players' access.
3. The vendor purchased a lot of codes using a credit card but didn't pay the credit card company, so had the codes were revoked.

You have two options to regain access to the game without purchasing it again:

1. Contact the vendor you purchased the code from and let them know your situation.
2. Contact Steam Support and provide them with a copy of your receipt.

yesterday, I contacted my keyseller (keymbo.com) and they try to help me. likewise i have contacted steamsupport, but they didn't replay anyway.

so it's very strange, because i buyed the game to the release of bioshock infinite and now steam disabled the key. 5 month later.
schommsen Nov 6, 2013 @ 11:32am
Yeah 5 months later. The same here!

Steam Support says that Steam suspended the CD Key on request by the publisher.

Now I want to know the reason!
