OSX installation error??

This may have been answered ages ago but...

Having just upgraded my Mac to OSX10.10.5 I can now run this game ... or I can't.

On launch it does two things:

1) Opens my documents folder for no apparent reason

2) Shuts down with the following error:

"BioShock 2 could not be run because the file “:::SharedBinks:Credits.bik” is missing from the installation. Please re-install and try again."

Any thoughts? :)

For me it says "We recommend updating to OS X 10.10.3 or later to improve your experience with BioShock 2" and "BioShock 2 could not be run because the file “:::SharedBinks:Credits.bik” is missing from the installation. Please re-install and try again." PLease help D:

i thought i was alone, if anybody gets any info pls tell us here. side note- weird that the bioshock series is fully available for mac on the app store but not on steam.

i just noticed even though when i click install it says estimated size is 83megs, it only downloads around 33 megs before saying it's ready to play. Seems like it's not actualy downloading the full game at all.

Ah! Just noticing that it is now downloading a 9gig+ "update" - I'm guessing this is a the actual game. Its halfway through - I'll let you know if it solves the problem.
