Game crashes when launched

So I have installed Bioshock 2 today but unfortunately when i launch the game it shows "Running" for 3 seconds and does nothing. I even used the "-dx9" in launch options but still nothing. Even tried to change compatibility mode, still nothing. What do i do?

load from a earlier save and they try to play it. Plus you should not save from exiting the game, but save manually and then exit.

thx mate but i asked the 2k support and they told to me to "verify the game cache" in "properties" and it worked fine. <3
