"Preload Complete?
I'm using Windows 8 - no touchscreen. Civ IV BTS & Colonization both recently switched their status from "Ready to Play" to "Pre-load Complete." Now neither of them will open - no resoponse at all after selecting "Play." How does this get fixed?

I suggest you ask Steam Support.

Verify integrity of game cache. If no success, reinstall. If no success, call tech support.
