Mini Lag in every action and screen tearing after updating VGA
i've got a a new vga geforce 970 4GB and the first time that i lauched the game, i receive a message first time ever that my specs don't match the minimum for play the game (which is not the case 8gb ram , AMD 4core etc) and the game put the config in minimum spec..

But i have this mini lag when is jumping from a unit to another, when i go to the city view, when i zoom out to the globe view all actions cause this, and if i click non stop in one unit for instance, the game keeps freezing in every click like one frame by click its very annoying to play, somebody knows what can be causing this?? i m using Win 7... thanks

Back in 2012, I found some games were running slowly on my new gaming laptop.

I tried to solve this by exploring my NVIDIA Control Panel and I discovered that my laptop was running these games using the CPU's integrated graphics processor by default. In the NVIDIA Control Panel, I was able to switch these games from the CPU's integrated graphics processor to my NVIDIA GTX 780M graphics card, and this sped these games up a lot. :D

Here's how do do this:

If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, you open "NVIDIA Control Panel".
On the left-hand side of the window that opens, you will see the words "Manage 3D Settings". Click that.
Then click on the tab "Program Settings".
You will be presented with the option to "Select a program to customize". Open the menu immediately under those words.
Scroll down to "[GAME NAME]" and select it.

You will be presented with the option to "Select the preferred graphics processor for this program". Open the menu immediately under those words.
In that menu, select whichever graphics processor you want your computer to use for the game. I chose my "High Performance NVIDIA processor".

At the bottom of the window, click "Apply".

Done :steamhappy:

And if that doesn't work, I suggest you try using Steam Support (click "Help" in the top lefthand area of this Steam page, and then when the menu opens, click on "Steam Support").

Hey, thanks for the attention, this makes a lot of sense!
but sadly my Nvidia Panel doesn't show the "Select the preferred graphics processor for this program" immediatly under the game's name just show the "Specific programs configuration" tab with all the configuration options...
