I couldn't figure out from the description or the trailer, do you drift for points in the game, or for time? i.e. is the winner of a race the person who gets the most points, or the one who gets to the finish line first? Or maybe there are modes for both? A time attack would certainly be interesting....

The game updates often but it never says what it contains.

First of all, fantastic game. The only really fun top down/isometric racing game out there. But... Anyone else noticed that your laptimes are slower since aprils update? Same track, same car, usually 5% slower than before. If this is correct, the novice and expert laptimes should be changed accordingly. Currently, finishing novice lap-time is much much harder then finishing 1st in the race. For the record, Im usually pretty decent at racing games but Im totally stuck already at cup 6/13 North Americ...

Is there no handbrake? If there is, what button on keyboard+controller? What about manual shifting? Anything else that isn't told in the tutorial that could be useful? Like clutch, traction control, abs, etc.
