It looks cool but the update history here on Steam shows nothing for the past year. Has the developer said anything?

Heya. Linux Mint 21.3 running KDE Plasma 5 with Wayland, flatpak Steam. If I try to use steam to launch Adventure Land, nothing happens. No change if steam overlay is on or off. I can go to the directory and launch "Adventure Land", and the game will launch - but without steam tracking. I'd prefer to have working steam tracking, so friends know when I'm playing.
