As for the Tasoth - check the kitchens. There's a bizarre glitch in that map where the kitchen store room sometimes has a black "void" behind the door and you can't get in. An alien could easily be trapped in that void. Your best bet - chuck a sonic pulser at the door and blow your way in past that void.
Thank you! ill give blasting those portions of the kitchens a try!
Also, I am finding tasoths just appearing behind aquanauts, thankfully, they already appear either heavily wounded (going down in one or two hits) or weaponless since i scavenged all of their ammo off of their likely unconscious bodies.
Probably the biggest problem at the moment is the game keeps crashing, spouting some sort of overflow error, and I would need to restart after those. Is it because of all of the bio drone fires, leveled smoky portions of the cruise ship? scattered items and such? Either way, i have never seen the game crash like that.
Tasoths appearing behind you wounded and unarmed makes me think they were ones you previously took out - but stunned rather than dead. They just woke up again.
