Hi, I just bought the game but its hard to get into, I want to play on a brandnew auto-generated map each time, is that possible?

...can anyone compare and contrast the differences between them?

I played this game back inthe 90's and now. I have watched countless games of AI vs Ai as well as played a few. I also understand the AI is hard to code. If anyone out there could improve the AI, I offer two potential ways to make it a better opponent: 1. Use airplanes to patrol from a city it owns straight out. I use four planes to go N,S,E,W to alert me of potential transports. I do this on cities that border the ocean. I will do this on inland cities only if the AI has a presence as well. 2. The clas...

I am using the default enhanced unit set. I've made a scout satellite and a short range missile. The launch button never enabled for either of them. I tried moving the short range missile to an airbase with a truck but it still would not launch.

I cannot get them to leave a land mass. Three Unit Types Ants: City Captures / Support, based on Armor FA / Flying Ant: Explore / Support, based on Fighter BG, (barge): Sea and Ground Explore / Transport, Carries 2 ants, moves at '1' sq/turn. --- Any ideas on what lines tell it to: Build more transports Board them Battle neutral and enemy cities? --- I'm open to any ideas / concepts / speculation and humor.
