How do I get the new update for this game?

I have stopped playing after 300+ hours as I find it gets too slow.

Could anyone tell me whether the update fixes the speed?

We have provided the update to Paradox who work with Steam to get the update posted to their system. Some Steam users have been able to get the update from our Dev forum and use it by disabling Steam Updates for the game but that is "try at your own risk".
