Hearthfire: WIFE WON'T MOVE INTO HOUSE
For some reason my wife just won't move into my new house, that topic just disapeared. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how do I fix it?

Worked fine for me, Can you get her to move to any other house? Not sure but maybe you need a bed etc before she will move in.

Yeah, I have everything. Bedroom, double bed... but everytime I try to get her to move in the chat box just closes before I can ask her to move to my house in Falkreath

I think i found out a reason why spouses won't move into the new houses, my wife will say she is moving to the new house, and i even have her follow me to Lakeview Manor, but when i dismiss her she will leave the house. If I use the player.moveto command I end up in Breezehome, but the world map says I am still in Lakeview Manor. Not exactely sure what this means but maybe someone with experiance with games will know what is going on.

I found a mod that will fix this until the problem is patched, the spouse custom home mod on skyrim nexus is working for me to keep Lydia at Lakeview Manor, maybe the mod will work for you and anyone else that reads this thread too.

by marriage mod do you mean this one: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=11579&searchtext=marriage+mod

If so, should I try disabling it? None of my characters' spouses will move anywhere but to their own 'homes'.

Actually, I was able to fix it! There's a mod that fixes it (turning off the marriage mod helps though)

I have a similar problem. (Pulling my hair out.) The option to move to the Manor does not come up in any dialogue. And, I have no marriage mods installed. Always a glitch to spoil the immersion.

There is now a mod that fixes it, its one of the top workshop mods.
