Thanks for the reply. Im running single monitor at 1920x1080 and it drops down to about 30FPS when entering Whiterun, Solitude etc. If i was to move up the path towards dragonsreach for example my FPS would slowly approach 50 but as soon as i turn around to exit it drops even lower to 25FPS (Using DXTORY to check FPS also tried Fraps)
It seems like (In Whiteruns case) whenever i'm looking near the center of the city, the FPS drops.
and a frsh install doesnt mean any fps-hazardous leftovers are gone... make a clean install.
Sorry if this was unclear but i meant a completely clean install when i said i peformed a fresh install and i always have Vsync on Adaptive anyway.
turning on fixed vsync "iced" my FPS @ 60. no poblems with FPS drops since then...

Definately something to do with the center of the map, at least everything seems to point towards that area.
I completely deleted everything to do with Skyrim using steam uninstall and also made sure everything "Skyrim" was deleted from my HDD also unsubscribed from my mods (I temporarily favorited all of them so i could install them again after testing the fresh install.
Although it was completely clean, vanilla skyrim. The same problem occurs in cities.
google has a link for sure :D
Do you honestly think a kick ass computer with 8GB ram / 4 ghz clock speed / a 2GB dedicated video card and a 1 TB hard drive is going to run a 32 bit application any better?
You're sadly misinformed and seriously mistaken.
GeForce experience is reccomending the exact settings i already have except it reccomends x4 AA :/
I am 100% certain turning AA on ( I usually have no anti-aliasing ) is going to make it worse but, what the hell
