Dragonborn

I decided to purchase Dragonborn finally, and Steam decides to tell me I already have it purchased. Which, I can assure that I do not have it purchased. Because of this, I am unable to download Dragonborn. Has anyone had this issue? Or any ideas on what I could maybe do.

Click the play game button and on the splash screen click "data files". Is "Dragonborn.esm" listed there? If it is then you already have it. Make sure it is ticked and you are ready to go.

If it isn't listed there then I'm not sure what the solution might be.

I have checked that multiple times now thinking I may have just read over it, but it isn't there. It says I've got it purchased under properties but I'm not sure where to go from there, as Steam doesn't let you install a single dlc.

At the top right of the Steam interface it says "****'s account". Select "account details" from the drop-down menu. There is a list of store transactions there, is Dragonborn listed at all?

It is there. This is why I am incredibly confused. I haven't purchased it before, because I have many mods that required Dragonborn at the time and did not want to spend the money to purchase it quite yet. So I let it be. Through nexus, I have it checked, it says it is there for some reason. Through steam, I do not have an esm to check. So it CTD's on startup. Odd..

I've verified integrity, re-installed Skyrim completely (deleting all files, not just uninstall from steam), next I'm just going to try and re-install all mods.

It is odd. If re-installing doesn't help then the only thing I can think of is to contact Steam support, there may have been a mix up somewhere along the line that is causing this.

Hearthfires allows you to use "House Mods" and similar type mods.
It also allows farming of plants, allows you to adopt children, adds a few new quests, allows you to start and raise a family, and it is only $5 [$2.50 with the sale].

For example, I'm making a mod right now that requires Heathfires, just because my mod adds new foods that I want the player to bake using the oven resource added by Hearthfires.

You'd be suprised, there's a lot of cool mods that require Hearthfires DLC; check em out

If you enjoy using mods in skyrim than I highly recommend it.

Mainly because of this. Mods require a lot from Bethesda's Skyrim DLC's in order to work.

Go to skyrim/properties theres tag DLC look in there, if there it is in game
It adds itself into game you don't start a new game Cultist followers will ask you if you are dragonborn that start the DLC bit off.

This was solved in August guys, but the above solution did not work. I had to call support to figure it all out.
